How You Can Support Our Work
Calvary Zion Children's Home survives on fundraising and donations to support the day to day running costs of the Home, feeding and clothing the children.
If you have raised money or are planning a fundraising event for Calvary Zion, we would be happy to feature it here on the website, please email Calvary Zion Support Trust or you can add it to our Facebook page.
In order to reassure you that donations are secure we have a link to a secure online donation website called CAF donate. This has the advantage of being able to reclaim gift-aid from donations made by U.K. tax payers and makes full use of every penny donated.
We have two main income streams: education sponsorship and a general maintenance fund, so you can choose how you would like to support our work.

Consider making a one-time or regular donation, or a contribution on behalf of a friend as a gift. Every donation to the children of Calvary Zion makes a difference - your donation might buy food, pay for clothes or contribute to the cost of electricity and lighting. Read more... |

Fundraise
You could raise money by holding a coffee morning, car boot sale or doing a sponsored activity. Whatever you feel like doing, it will make you and others feel good knowing it's to help others. We've had people doing sponsored swims and bike rides, Christmas collections instead of sending cards and a charity shop. Be a Friend of Calvary Zion Connect your business, school, church, or other club's charitable giving to Calvary Zion. This is a great cause for fundraisers, and is tax-deductible in some countries. Regular contributions can give Calvary Zion more financial stability which helps us to plan for the expansion of the Home. You could support Calvary Zion by giving on a monthly basis. Read more... |

Volunteer at Calvary Zion
Volunteers make an invaluable contribution to the lives of the kids. Susan (our Chairperson) was a volunteer in Kenya in 2005 and was very impressed by the work of Calvary Zion and by the dedication of Jane and her staff. As a result, Susan persuaded friends and colleagues to get together and form the Calvary Zion Children's Home Support Trust. We regret the Trust is not in a position to organise volunteer placements directly. We recommend that you use the services of a reputable organisation. Visit the children
Mombasa is a popular holiday resort and many people visit Calvary Zion Children's Home while they are on holiday.
