This is a fund to receive donations for general purposes. As you can imagine running a home for 40+ children, including babies and toddlers, takes quite a bit of funding. For example, electricity, hot water, baby food, washing powder and soap, not to mention food and clothes and wages for the house mothers. You may wish to give a one-off donation or make a regular contribution to the day to day running of the Home.
In order to reassure you that donations are secure we have a link to a secure online donation website called CAF donate. This has the advantage of being able to reclaim gift-aid from donations made by U.K. tax payers and makes full use of every penny donated. Donors from other countries are advised to contact us direct to discuss the best way to donate
Every donation for the children of Calvary Zion makes a difference - your donation might buy food, pay for clothes or contribute to the cost of electricity and lighting.
The Trust is run by volunteers and we do not claim any expenses. Our only outgoings are the bank charges for transferring funds to Mombasa, so that means for every UK pound donated 99.3 pence goes to support the education and living costs of the Home.
